Blue Bayou

I’m starting to understand why girls would want to exercise until they can’t stand up, buy only the trendiest clothing, tan until they look like they live on the sun and pound on the makeup.

I just don’t feel adequate anymore. I feel pretty…But not pretty ENOUGH. Not pretty enough to compete with all of the other girls out there. They’re all better than me…Prettier than me…Smarter than me…Funnier than me. It sucks. It would be better if I was different…That’s what I keep telling myself. If I had a tan, if my teeth were whiter, if my skin was more clear, if my lips were more full, if my hair wasn’t so frizzy all the time.

It sucks. And now I feel bad for making fun of those girls. Clearly they’re doing it for a reason. They think they’ll be prettier with all of these things done and maybe they feel prettier. But, even if it does, they’ll always have it in their heads that I’m pretty NOW, but I wasn’t THEN. They’ll think that they’re only pretty now that their skin has a brown glow and their teeth are pearly white and they have the best clothing. They’ll think that whoever they were before was a completely different person who just didn’t make the cut. They might have been a good person, but that person didn’t get them what they wanted out of life.

Weird mood.

Is it possible to look something other than tacky in a vacation t-shirt?

Because I’m notorious for buying ugly, white vacation t-shirts that are stamped with the name of the city I’m visiting or the amusement park or whatever. And really, where can you wear one of these shirts? Typically, I end up wearing them when I’m working out (in my house), as a PJ shirt or just when all of my other clothes are in the wash and I have nothing to wear.

But…I will not stop buying these useless t-shirts. In fact, I’m wearing one now. It’s white, way too big and has PLAYA DEL CARMEN across the chest. It’s been sitting in my suitcase since I got home a few weeks ago. It smells like Mexico. Yum.

Okay…umm…Definitely need a new background for my profile.

Went to look at it after a few months and my eyes almost exploded. D:

iwontwalkdownthestreetagain asked: This may seem random but I love your views on fish :')
Those tiny little fish bowls are so mean :(
xx

Awww thank you! I’m glad someone else feels that way! Just because they’re plentyful and small doesn’t mean they’re insignificant. A kitten can survive in a kennel their entire life. Doesn’t mean they should!

I’m gonna do it…omg. D:

I found a class entitled ‘6 Weeks Techniques.’ It says it’s ”a fundamental exploration in audition techniques and on camera skills.”

It’s with one of the most (or perhaps THE most) respected actors/coaches in all of Vancouver.

I have been reading testimonials from students who have taken his classes in the past. They say he knows what he’s talking about and coaches you without humiliating or belittling you.

Regardless of how nice they say he is, I’m terrified. I hope I don’t back out tomorrow when I go to send my resume in. I hope they accept my resume and think I’m fit for the class. I hope I don’t embarrass myself in front of a bunch of other people from the industry. :(

No…I WILL do well!
